Dr. David V. Tillmanns was born in Pasadena, Calif., and lived in Southern California until beginning his college and professional training. He served two years of active duty as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, providing treatment for military personnel in San Diego, Calif., the Philippine Islands, Vietnam and aboard the U.S.S. Paul Revere as the ship's Dental Officer.
Dr. Tillmanns has enjoyed a successful practice as an orthodontist in San Jose for 30 years.
He has been married to Sally Tillmanns for 37 years. They are parents of three children.
An avid sportsman, Dr. Tillmanns enjoys golf, skiing, bicycling, tennis and fly-fishing.
His participation in many community activities is a very important part of Dr. Tillmanns' personal and professional life.
