WHAT IS INVISALIGN?

WHAT IS INVISALIGN TEEN?
Invisalign Teen is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teen’s teeth without the restrictions that come with metal braces. Rather than wires and brackets, Invisalign and Invisalign Teen use a series of clear, removable aligners that have been custom-made for your teen’s teeth. Simply put Invisalign Teen is Invisalign for teenagers.
WHY WOULD I WANT IT?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are not a problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You wear each set of aligners for 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Freeman has prescribed. You’ll visit Dr. Freeman about once every 6-8 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

Freeman Orthodontics is happy to provide Spark Clear Aligners in San Jose. Spark Clear Aligner are an alternative to traditional braces that utilize a series of clear trays to straighten your teeth. These trays or clear aligners are made using 3D scans, printing, and being hand cut to fit your unique smile. This modern solution to orthodontic treatment has proven to be comfortable and effective.

Spark Clear Aligners are an excellent solution to someone who’s worried about the aesthetics of traditional braces. It’s a great treatment for individuals who don’t want to adapt their diet or lifestyle to accommodate braces. They’re removable, so you can eat, drink, brush, and floss as you normally would.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We start by getting a set of 3D scans of your smile, then you’ll be fitted for your initial aligners. From there you’ll switch to new aligners every 2 weeks. You should wear your aligners all day removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
We provide you with 3-4 sets of clear aligners for you to switch out. After those aligners have run their course (6-8 weeks), you’ll come in for a review. Dr. Freeman likes to visit with aligner patients to make sure your smile is on track, to answer any questions, and to provide any advice.
