The reality is technology has advanced braces since those days. Today’s braces are smaller but more effective than traditional braces. Our braces are designed to be less irritating and easier to clean than older braces.
It is normal to feel discomfort after braces or clear aligners are installed and after adjustments. But our braces require fewer office visits, which means less tightening and less discomfort.
“All I can get are metal braces, which are ugly.”
These are not your parents’ braces! Our stainless steel braces use metal brackets that are smaller and less visible than older braces. You won’t have that mouthful-of-metal look like in the old days.
There’s another bonus to today’s technology — you aren’t limited to metal braces. We also offer clear ceramic braces, which use brackets that blend in with the teeth much better.
